Denver, CO – January 14, 2016 – ViaWest, a leading Hybrid IT solutions provider in North America, added to its list of achievements in 2015 with three significant honors for members of its leadership team and its channel program.
ViaWest Co-founder, President and CEO Nancy Phillips was honored as a recipient of one of the inaugural Colorado Governor’s Citizenship medals, which recognizes Colorado residents and organizations from diverse sectors that have made meritorious contributions to strengthen Colorado communities and develop new opportunities for Coloradans throughout the state. Phillips received the award from Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper for Growth and Innovation, which acknowledges her leadership with exceptional ingenuity and growth while inspiring and creating new possibilities for others.
D Magazine also named Regional Vice President of Sales & General Manager Tom Myers as one of Dallas-Fort Worth’s most influential business leaders. The editors of D Magazine's D CEO publication recognized the most powerful top executives in more than 60 business categories to create The Dallas 500, the definitive list of the individuals who are driving Dallas-Fort Worth business. The selections were made based on extensive contacts in North Texas business circles, hundreds of interviews and months of research.
“These awards cap off a year of significant growth and expansion for ViaWest, and we are proud to have been honored by these leading organizations for our achievements and our commitment to our partners and customers,” said Phillips.
The Channel Company also featured ViaWest in its annual CRN® 2015 Cloud Computing Partner Program Guide, a listing of leading technology vendors with cloud-related partner programs that enable and accelerate the growth of solution providers’ cloud initiatives. This is ViaWest’s second consecutive year being featured in the guide, in which CRN editors select companies that offer substantive cloud partner programs.
“With the pace of change and fierce competition in the growing cloud market, it’s imperative that a solution provider finds vendor partners capable of giving them consistent, tangible support to grow their cloud-related revenue. The CRN 2015 Cloud Partner Program Guide helps them find those partners that are right for their business,” says Robert Faletra, CEO of The Channel Company.
