Peak 10 Executive Honored as Silver Stevie Award Winner for the 2017 American Business Awards

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – May 5, 2017 – Peak 10 + ViaWest, a national hybrid IT infrastructure provider offering colocation, interconnection, cloud and managed IT services, today announced that Joe Deney, Executive Vice President of customer operations, was named the winner of a Silver Stevie® award in the Information Technology Executive of the Year category as part of the 15th Annual American Business Awards.

More than 3,600 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of categories, including Startup of the Year, Executive of the Year, Best New Product or Service of the Year, Marketing Campaign of the Year, Live Event of the Year, and App of the Year, among others. Peak 10 was nominated in the IT Awards category for Information Technology Executive of the Year. More than 190 professionals worldwide participated in the judging process to select this year’s Stevie Award winners.

Deney’s recognition in the Information Technology Executive of the Year category attests to the wide scope of activities and accomplishments he and his team at Peak 10 have had. He developed the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Governance committee at Peak 10 to ensure that ITIL processes were being implemented in both central and field operations. Deney also championed the automated workflow tool ServiceNow®, which provides customers with a direct feedback mechanism that is integrated into its project management application.

Through Deney’s contributions and commitment to these initiatives, the company reduced customer service tickets by 40% year-over-year comparison and received an industry-leading Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 67.4 in 2016.
